Eva Mazzucco grew up in Salzburg, where she attended a drawing school and worked in Hauzer’s pottery workshop. In 1949 she began her studies at the College of Applied Arts in Vienna. She made a few well known large sculpture in Vienna’s public spaces especially for sunbathers (Workers Beach, Vienna 22), and the bronze mother and child (Wagramer Straße 55-61, Bécs 22) and the Playful Child (Wimpfengasse 37-39). In total, more than 60 large-scale sculptures have been exhibited in public spaces.
